Leopold Banchini Architects aims to develop an eclectic and non-dogmatic architecture celebrating simplicity, economy and sustainability. Federico Soriano es Doctor Arquitecto y Catedrático de Proyectos en el Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Es investigador responsable de ProLab. Laboratorio de Investigación del Proyecto Contemporáneo y de Dispositivos aglutinadores de proyecto (UPM). Es director de la revistaArquitectura, del Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid, y de Fisuras de la cultura contemporánea. Entre sus libros publicados destacan Un viaje con las miradas. La Arquitectura como relato(Abada Editores, 2016),100 Hipermínimos. 100 Hyperminimals(Lampreave, 2009) y Sin tesis(Gustavo Gili, 2004). Junto a Dolores Palacios, funda la oficina S&Aa. Federico Soriano is an Architect (1986) and PhD (2002) of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), Spain. He is professor of Architectural Projects at UPM since 2017 since 2007 and director of the Architecture Magazine COAM of the Architects’ Official College of Madrid. Federico is researcher in architecture theory and methodologies of the contemporary project and is responsible for the GI “ProLab. Research Laboratory of the Contemporary Project” and of the GIE “Project binding devices”. In association with Dolores Palacios, they lead Fissures of Contemporary Culture and in 2009 they founded the Encoger@ movement. They are partners of the Soriano y Asociados office (S&Aa). Moreover, they have received awards and given lectures and presentations in different countries, published 19 books and 155 articles, and developed more than 276 projects and competitions.

Carla Juaçaba, nació en 1976, fundó su propio estudio de arquitectura e investigación en Río de Janeiro en el año 2000. Se dedica a proyectos tanto públicos como privados, centrándose en proyectos residenciales y culturales. Siendo estudiante empezó a trabajar con Gisela Magalhães, contemporánea de Niemeyer, en trabajos expositivos sobre el arte indígena brasileño y museos históricos.
En su primer año después de la universidad proyectó con Mario Fraga la casa Atelier (2000). Después diseñó las casas Río Bonito (2005), Varanda (2007), Mínima (2008) y Santa Teresa (2012) y lugares de exposición. En 2012 realizó junto a la artista Bia Lessa el pabellón temporal Umanidade2012, para la conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre desarrollo sostenible. Actualmente dirige su oficina Carla Juaçaba Studio.
Igualmente se dedica al ámbito académico y a la investigación. Es profesora de la FAU-PUC RJ FAU-PUC RJ Pontifícia Universidade Católica. Habitualmente da conferencias y participa en bienales y exposiciones. Su trabajo se centra en los temas intrínsecos a la disciplina: la poética de lo tectónico y su potencial expresivo.
Since 2000, Carla Juaçaba developed her independent practice of architecture and research based in Rio de Janeiro. Her office is currently engaged in both cultural programs and private projects. After graduated she worked on the Atelier House, Rio Bonito House, Varanda House, Santa Teresa House, and a couple of exhibition design. The ephemeral Pavilion Humanidade 2012 for Rio+20 was conceived with the theater director Bia Lessa. Carla Juaçaba is constantly part of the academic and teaching realms, as well as research studies and Lectures Harvard GSD; Columbia University GSAPP; Academia di Architettura Mendrisio. Workshop at IUAV di Venezia 2014; Jury at BIAU Bienal Ibero Americana in Madrid 2012. She won the first edition of the international prize ArcVision Women and Architecture 2013 in Italy. She is participating at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018 with the project BALLAST, and also built one of the Vatican Chapels for the Holy See Pavilion.

Nace en México D.F. en 1977. Titulado como arquitecto por la Uni versidad Anáhuac y miembro del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte, funda MANUEL CERVANTES CÉSPEDES / CC ARQUITECTOS en 2004. En 2006 desarrolla dentro de la oficina un área dedicada a proyectos urbanos y de transporte masivo, e inicia la investigación en torno a los Centros de Transferencia Multimodal (CETRAM) y los Desarrollos Orientados al Tránsito (DOT).
Ha realizado trabajos para instituciones públicas de la República Mexicana como el INFONAVIT, y proyectos ur banos y arquitectónicos para varios países del continente Americano. En su labor docente ha impartido talleres y conferencias en varias universidades de México, Estados Unidos, España y Portugal.
Born in Mexico City in 1977. Graduated as an architect from the Anahuac University, joined the National System of Art Creators, and opened the MANUEL CERVANTES CÉSPEDES/CC ARQUITECTOS office in 2004.
In 2006, he set up a section in the office dedicated to urban and mass transport projects, and began researching multimodal transfer centres (CETRAM) and transit-oriented developments (DOT).
He has received commissions from Mexican government institutions such as INFONAVIT, and urban and architectural projects in several Latin American countries. His teaching work has included workshops and lectures at several universities in Mexico, the United States, Spain and Portugal.

Michael Meredith obtuvo un Máster de Arquitectura con Honores en la Escuela de Diseño de la Universidad de Harvard (2000). Hilary Sample obtuvo un Máster de Arquitectura y el Premio Suzanne Kolarik por su tesis en la Universidad de Princeton (2003). Ludwig Godefroy es arquitecto de origen francés. Fundó Ludwig Godefroy Architecture en 2011. Se graduó por la Escuela de Arquitectura de Marne-la-Vallee en París, Francia, y posteriormente trabajó como pasante en los estudios de arquitectura de Laeser, Rem Koolhaas/Oma, Miralles, Tatiana Bilbao y otras firmas de arquitectura.
Tras montar su propio estudio, comenzó a emprender diversos proyectos, buscando la similitud, correspondencia y sincronización entre la arquitectura y la naturaleza para lograr la armonía del diseño. Godefroy cree que la armonía es una intuición y hace de la «consistencia» un símbolo personal.
Ludwig Godefroy is an architect who was born in France. His architectural attention goes back and forth between the two countries, the one where he was born and the one where he works and lives. Mexico, in particular, was a major source of inspiration. He forged a tender and loving bond with the country. In 2011, he established his eponymous studio Ludwig Godefroy Architecture here.
Ludwig Godefroy studied architecture in Paris and previously worked for the following architecture firms: Leeser Architecture in New York, Enric Miralles/Benedetta Tagliabue in Barcelona, OMA/Rem Koolhaas in Rotterdam and Tatiana Bilbao in Mexico City.
Ludwig Godefroy is fond of the word "harmony". In his opinion, he believes that everyone has his own subjective view of architecture, but maintaining harmony is a remarkable intersection of things and a source of surprise. For Ludwig Godefroy, it is often the starting point for a project. At the same time, this is what makes the architectural work unique, based on the sensitivity, curiosity, emotion and history of the building.
For Ludwig Godefroy, time is the way to test the true nature of architecture. The sheen that emerges from the surface of the building over time is what architects are after. They look for authenticity and simplicity in architecture, and over time, all the skin fades and ages, but becomes more beautiful and realistic rather than damaged. Architecture is supposed to get rid of the unnecessary and focus on the essence of the structure, where architecture can provide a contemporary reinterpretation of vernacular meaning.

oi oi oi es un estudio de arquitectura fundado en 2019 por Pablo Germenos y Ernesto Pérez Rea basado en la Ciudad de México, el cual aborda el quehacer creativo a partir de la arquitectura y el diseño en distintas escalas y disciplinas.
A través del trabajo en equipo y la colaboración, o i o i o i utiliza la exploración y el aprendizaje como eje rector en su práctica. La oficina busca a través de sus proyectos reforzar el bagaje contextual con el que cada uno de los sitios carga y por medio de la exploración, la reinterpretación y la reapropiación de este, cuestionar las dicotomías que los
inspiran y los informan: lo físico y lo intangible, lo histórico y lo contemporáneo, la totalidad y el detalle.
Buscando entender el proyecto arquitectónico a través y a pesar del contexto, se pretende reconocer y enfatizar contrastes que permitan ampliar la mirada de los lugares que ocupan.

Nerea Calvillo (Madrid, 7 Marzo de 1973) es una arquitecta española que investiga la intersección entre la arquitectura, la ciencia y la tecnología, además de estudios feministas, nuevos materiales y ecología política urbana.
Especializada en la investigación de la representación visual del aire en laatmósfera, construye diagramas gráficos para la visualización de agentes microscópicos invisibles en el aire e incidir así en la mejora de la calidad del aire.
Estudió Arquitectura en la Escuela Superior de Arquitectura ETSAM -Universidad Politécnica de Madrid de la que se doctoró en el año 2014 con sobresaliente cum laude. Obtuvo la Poiesis Fellowship de la Universidad de Nueva York. Con la beca Fulbright estudió en Nueva York graduándose en MsArchAAD en Columbia University de Nueva York.Amplió sus estudios en el Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia. Estudió en el Reino Unido en la Goldsmiths University of London, y en la University of Warwick. En 2004 crea el estudio C+Arquitectas después de trabajar en varias firmas de arquitectura internacionales como NO.MAD, Madrid, y F.O.A. en Londres.
Nerea Calvillo is an architect and researcher, founder of C+ arquitectos. She is the founder ofIn the Air,an ongoing project designed to provide digital visualization of air pollution, and was co-curator of the Connecting Cities Network. Calvillo received her PhD from Polytechnic University of Madrid in 2014 after receiving her Masters in Advanced Architecture from Columbia University as a Fullbright Scholar. She completed a post-doctorate research fellowship at Citizen Sense, Goldsmiths, University of London, and received the Poesies Fellowship from New York University. She has taught at the UEM, Alicante University, Architectural Association, GSD Harvard and GSAPP Columbia.
She is currently assistant professor at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies (Warwick, UK). Her research explores the material, technological, political and social dimensions of environmental pollution at the intersection between architecture, feminist studies of technoscience, new materialisms and urban ecological policies.

3 ME Arquitectura es un taller familiar establecido en la ciudad Guanajuato, México, desde el 2018. Es a través de un acercamiento multidisciplinar que desarrollan su trabajo de diseño. Partiendo de la confrontación de las ideas que transitan entre la investigación, la academia y la práctica, para alcanzar la máxima expresión de los medios y su continuidad en el tiempo.
Enrico Hernández Cervantes (1988) y Augusto Valentino Hernández Cervantes (1990), ambos egresados de la Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Guanajuato, con Máster en Diseño Arquitectónico por la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Navarra. Su práctica se complementa con la labor académica que desempeñan en el Instituto de Tecnológico de Estudios de Superiores de Monterrey campus León.El estudio ha realizado importantes proyectos de obra pública y rehabilitación de espacios de carácter histórico; así como proyectos para clientes privados. 3 ME Arquitectura is a family workshop established in the city Guanajuato, Mexico, since 2018. It is through a multidisciplinary approach that they develop their design work. Starting from the confrontation of ideas that transit between research, academia and practice, to achieve the maximum expression of the means and its continuity over time.

RA! is an architecture office founded by Cristóbal Ramírez de Aguilar, Pedro Ramírez de Aguilar and Santiago Sierra in 2017 based in Mexico City and winners of The Felix Candela Award in 2019.
RA! understands architecture as the study and production of spaces that stimulate and shelter human beings. Through this thought, RA! classifies architecture according to human relationships: societal, personal and interpersonal, always placing individuals as the center of their design. RA! is in a constant exploration, so experimentation is an inherent process of their vision. Experimental projects such as competitions, installations and academic exercises, allow the practice to explore new design possibilities and unknown tools to keep an evolving vision.

Desde su prática profesional trata de restablecer la conexión entre la ciudad (Sociedad) y la naturaleza (espíritu) a través de su organismo sensible/háptico (piel) y atmosférico/matérico (el espacio). El año 2017 fueron reconocidos con el tercel lugar del Premio Félix Candela para jóvenes arquitectos que convoca el Instituto Español de Arquitectura.

José Ignacio Vargas es un arquitecto mexicano que se graduó con honores y el premio 'Catedra Blanca Cemex' de la Universidad Iberoamericana en la Ciudad de México. Trabajó como asistente del arquitecto Ricardo Legorreta. Luego continuó sus estudios en la escuela Glasgow School of Art. A su regreso colaboró con la arquitecta Tatiana Bilbao y FRAMA Copenhagen. Se graduó con el titulo de Maestría en Filosofía (MPhil) en arquitectura y diseño urbano de la Architectural Association School of Architecture en Londres (2017). Desde el 2018 enseña arquitectura en la Universidad Iberoamericana de la Ciudad de México. En 2020 resultó ganador del tercer lugar del Premio Félix Candela (Ed. "Casa Agave")
José Ignacio Vargas is a Mexican architect who graduated with honors and the 'Catedra Blanca Cemex' award from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He worked as an assistant to the architect Ricardo Legorreta. He then continued his studies at the Glasgow School of Art. Upon his return, he collaborated with the architect Tatiana Bilbao and FRAMA Copenhagen. He graduated with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in architecture and urban design from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London (2017). Since 2018, he teaches architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
